DIY: STILETTO NAILS!

Since P.O.D. is all about affordable dopeness i wanted to share with you all the budget friendly way I keep my nails fly!

Many of us are students, mothers etc.... and can't always afford to go to the nail salon every week or every other week but, and want to keep up with the trendy nail styles you may see your favorite celeb rocking!

I fell in love with the stiletto nail style (you know the pointy tip nails most boyfriends are afraid of lol) or the cat nail that some like to call it.

When I'm not able to go see my nail stylist SPIFTER (it's been a while) I go to my local target or walgreens to dive into some DIY (do it yourself) nail crafting!

Can last a week!

What To Buy!

1. A pack of Kiss 100 pack nails in the length of your choice short to long! usually no more than $6 (comes with a small bottle of nail glue but, I get an extra bottle from the beauty supply it holds better)

2. A pack of nail filers $3

3. Nail polish remover $1

4. Cotton balls or pads $2

5. Nail clippers $2

6. Your choice of nail polish colors or stickers

Steps!

Once you have cleaned your own nails, clipped them, gotten rid of hang nails, dead skin etc.... follow these steps!

1. Find the kiss nail that best fits the size of your natural nail bed

2. Glue the kiss nail to your nail (apply some on your nail and the back of the kiss nail if you want extra hold)

Once all 10 nails are applied

3. Clip the sides of each nail in a slant almost like a 45 degree angle , once that is done to your liking it should look like the bottom photo.

4. File the nail sides to get rid of ridged edges and define the point that you want to have.

5. Once that is done let the creativity begin with any nail polish color you want, create your own designers, and go color block crazy!
